Angels and Airwaves (often abbreviated to AVA) released their second album, 'I-Empire', in November 2007 to great critical acclaim. Produced by frontman Tom DeLonge of Blink-182 fame, it was the first album to recorded at Jupiter Sound.

Alternative rock band Angels & Airwaves was formed by former Blink 182 & Box Car Racer guitarist/vocalist Tom DeLonge. The line-up includes Offspring drummer Atom Willard and the former 30 Seconds to Mars bassist Matt Wachter who in early 2007 replaced Ryan Sinn, formerly of The Distillers. Angels & Airwaves first album "We Don't Need to Whisper" was released in 2006. The album "I-Empire" follows in 2007.
