New Wave Punk rock band Blondie was conceived in 1974/5 by singer Debbie Harry and guitarist Chris Stein with drummer Clem Burke, keyboard player Jimmy Destri and bass player Gary Valentine. Blondie have since sold over 40 million records. Blondie then comprising Frank Infante, Chris Stein, Deborah Harry, Nigel Harrison, Clem Burke and Jimmy Destri.split in 1982 and reformed in 1998 with the original four members of Blondie to great acclaim touring and producing more hit records.

The Blondie song "Atomic" is featured in the 2002 PlayStation 2 videogame Grand Theft Auto: Vice City as part of the New Wave radio station Wave 103, with "Heart of Glass" on the 2006 prequel game, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories also on New Wave radio station Wave 103. "One Way or Another" appeared on the soundtrack of Driver: Parallel Lines.
