Buffy the Vampire Slayer Demon Giles Previews Exclusive Figure

Buffy the Vampire Slayer was created by writer-director Joss Whedon. The Buffy series follows the adventures of Buffy Anne Summers played by Sarah Michelle Gellar. Buffy Summers is the latest in a line of young women chosen by fate in every generation to battle against vampires, demons, and the forces of darkness. Like previous slayers, Buffy is helped by a Watcher, who guides and trains her. Buffy is aided by the "Scooby Gang." including Giles, Dawn, Faith, Buffy, Willow and Xander, who are a group of friends attending Sunnydale High in a town build on top of a Hellmouth. Faith is portrayed by Eliza Dushku. Faith is the third Slayer to appear on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Faith became a Slayer when Kendra Young died at the hands of Drusilla in "Becoming, Part One". Faith relates closely to Angel and Spike in the Buffy series.

Rupert Giles is played by Anthony Stewart Head. Giles' family has worked within the Council of Watchers for at least three generations; both his father and grandmother, Edna Giles, were also Watchers. Watcher Giles is a father figure to Buffy and also an advisor to her friends Xander Harris and Willow Rosenberg, together they become the Scooby Gang. Giles is Sunnydale librarian and the library, focus of the Scooby Gang, is right above the Hellmouth. Giles becomes enamoured with Jenny Calendar who is subsequently destroyed by Angelus.
