Buffy the Vampire Slayer was created by writer-director Joss Whedon. The Buffy series follows the adventures of Buffy Anne Summers played by Sarah Michelle Gellar. Buffy Summers is the latest in a line of young women chosen by fate in every generation to battle against vampires, demons, and the forces of darkness. Like previous slayers, Buffy is helped by a Watcher, who guides and trains her. Buffy is aided by the "Scooby Gang." including Giles, Dawn, Faith, Buffy, Willow and Xander, who are a group of friends attending Sunnydale High in a town build on top of a Hellmouth. Faith is portrayed by Eliza Dushku. Faith is the third Slayer to appear on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Faith became a Slayer when Kendra Young died at the hands of Drusilla in "Becoming, Part One". Faith relates closely to Angel and Spike in the Buffy series.
