Lily Allen's debut album Alright, Still was nominated for the award of Best British Album at the Brits in 2007. Lily Allen is the goddaughter of late Clash guitarist, Joe Strummer. Lily Allen performed on the single "Who Invented Fish & Chips?" by Fat Les, in which her father, Keith Allen of Comic Strip fame, was the lead singer of the band. As Lily Allen's musical career continues to progress, including playing Glastonbury in 2007, she remains controversial through her expressed opinions of other musicians and her perceived general lifestyle.
