The Scissor Sisters are an alternative disco/glam rock band from New York formed in 2001 consisting of Paddy Boom, Babydaddy, Jake Shears, Ana Matronic and Del Marquis. The band's debut album, Scissor Sisters, reached number one on the UK Albums Chart and became the best selling album of 2004. The Scissor Sisters' second album,Ta-Dah - a combination of sixties-era psychedelia, glam rock and disco, also reached number one in the UK charts. The Scissor Sisters have supported Duran Duran, U2, and Depeche Mode. They have been supported by Lily Allen and collaborated with Kylie Minogue and Elton John. "I Don't Feel Like Dancin'" is their biggest selling UK number one single. The Scissor Sisters DVD, We Are Scissor Sisters... And So Are You, was released in 2004.
