Aardman Animations, the stop-motion studio made famous by the legendary Wallace and Gromit, was founded in 1976 by Peter Lord and David Sproxton. They got their first big break with Morph on the hit kids TV show Vision On and have since become household names, with their clay characters winning numerous awards including an Academy award for "Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit".
